A maintenance worker caught in a failed heist at the Academy stables is now the thirtieth rider of the Sovereign Games.

Eight B has killed every rider who has touched him. Elizabeth Reeves touched him and lived. The Fixtures Office has assigned her to Azura Ascendancy without a sponsor, without training and without appeal. Her choice was the Games or death.

She enters the season at the bottom of the global leaderboard. The death market opened within minutes.
